I created one piece using the handbuilding method and two pieces thrown on the wheel. For my slab, I used the slab roller to create a long, rectangular slab. Then I picked out a mold to use. For one of my thrown pieces, I carved out slices of clay to create pedals of a sunflower. I used warm colors to represent the season switch from winter to spring to inspire and get other people excited about the warm weather. I used the carving technique to add a three dimensional look to two out of my three pieces
